usually after it boots - it says 'new updates are ready to download' which i
had previously set up not to automatically do

seeing as has not shown up (and i cannot see the icon saying 'new updates
are available) should i assume that it has reset back to auto - and this is
why the disc is going crazy because there is probably a few weeks worth ?

annoying still

the taskmanager means sod all to me to be honest - its aload of little
funny named programs - i dont know what tehy do or what

why does it not indicate it is downloading on the taskbar or similar or how
long it is going to take - is there any way to check

i was concerned as to why it was making a noise in such a rythmic fashion
because that did not strike me as normal

i have generally been happy with it up to this point - great for watching
movies on ...


oh well my new mac is arriving in a couple of hours - hurrah
