RE: FN-FORUM: "Unable to verify as a trusted site" [Scanned]

Hi,
Would be worth checking to see if the issuing SSL registrar requires you
to 'add' them into the trusted sources of the clients computer. I know
that some of the cheaper SSL certs require you install an additional bit
to stop the kind of problem you are describing. This is fine on
internal-type sites like an office intranet where the site admin has the
ability to install these extra bits but not so good for public sites
like a shop front.
Hope this helps to point you in the right direction?!?
Regards
Grant.

Just a quick question.
A friend is using SSL on a windows server (not sure if that matters or=20
not). He's installed a SSL cert but when you access https the "Unable to
verify as a trusted site" message pops up. What needs doing to just let=20
a visitor in without having to accept the certificate?
