I still get great Joy from plugging in my Vextrex Console, although the
colour Gels for all my games have disappeared over the years, I still =
love
playing Minestorm, Clean Sweep, and Spike which had a few lines of =
talking
on there, amazing stuff,
I went to the exhibition at the Barbican called "Game" a few years ago =
and
looked through 2" thick Perspex at the sight of the headset for the =
vextrex
I think it was just basically 2 small monitors stuck to glasses but =
still
looked cool,
I am amazed that after all this time it still works.
What's even more amazing is that in the day of COD4 and the like, my 7 =
year
old cousin loves to visit and play on the old system with as much =
enthusiasm
as if it were a PS2 game.

I have been toying with resurrecting my old BBC B computer and =
introducing
my Wii addicted, Guitar hero an introduction to the world=B9s greatest =
game
=B3Elite=B2. So today I finally dusted it off, connected it to the TV =
and turned
it on. A quick bleep and we were away.
Sadly though after 10 minutes there was a fizz and the PSU went. I am =
grief
stricken.=20
Although I think I can get a spare from ebay.
