Ian Vince

I am a writer with 30 years of experience and the author of 5 books ranging in style from fairly broad humour to travel and popular science. I write copy for clients – including an international hotel group, a management consultancy, various health brands, an entertainment agency and a leading independent cereal brand. Top line clients I am permitted to disclose include Ordnance Survey, Mercure Hotels and White Label World.

I also contribute to magazines and newspapers and have, over the years, written for The Daily Telegraph, the Radio Times, The Guardian, The Idler, Countryside Voice, The Author and BBC Countryfile Magazine. At various points, I was a columnist for both the Telegraph and for Countryfile Magazine and a contributing editor for The Idler.

In other fields, I have written minor topical sketches for BBC Radio 4 shows and Channel 4's 'Bremner, Bird and Fortune'. I also co-wrote and presented a Radio 4 documentary about a 400-mile journey across Britain in an electric milk float.
