I am an illustrator and painter based in Saltaire, West Yorkshire. I have been drawing since I was a young child, eventually taking art a-level, attending art college at Bradford and a taking degree in graphic design at Hull. I left with First Class Honours and having won an RSA (Royal Society of Arts) Award and became a fellow of the RSA.

Recently I have produced commercial illustrations for companies such as the National Media Museum, NHS England, the Science Museum, TUI/Thomson Cruises, the RSPB and the V & A.

If you feel like giving your company a unique visual identity, if you have a special gift in mind or even if you want to treat yourself, I work to commission so feel free to contact me!

Written testimonial:
I have worked with Sven on a number of interactives and seen his work throughout our museum. His work is creative, entertaining, informative and can often get the message across on several levels. It has been a pleasure to work with such a talented individual.

Written testimonial:
The National Media Museum organises and displays permanent and temporary collection exhibitions. Part of the work required is interpretation of the objects and how they work or explanations of very technical processes for which we use animations or interactive games. I have used Sven for several exhibitions and he has made some creative and interesting pieces:
An interactive map of Bradford connecting buildings and personal stories
Taken a series of stills and animated for a current exhibition on Capturing and creating movement.
Animations for children to explain the meaning of Open Source technology.
This is only a few - He completes the work on time and with great enthusiasm for the subject. They always meet the brief given and the age groups targeted. I would not hesitate using Sven for future exhibitions.

Written testimonial:
I have worked with Sven on numerous projects at the National Media Museum. Sven provided excellent design and interactive solutions for both temporary and permanent exhibitions. He was a valuable member of a project team, giving sound advice both in his specialist field and for the broader progression of a project. He is hard working and a pleasure to work with.

Sven was a tremendous asset to the Museum - we worked together on several gallery interactives, animations and illustrations. His creative flair, keen eye for detail and good humour will be missed.
